A debt collection procedure doesn't have to be complicated - with Helios Inkasso you always know what will happen next. We work in a structured, transparent and solution-oriented manner. Below we show you step by step what a typical debt collection process looks like with us:
1.
Placing an order
You can send us your debt collection order conveniently online or, if you wish, in writing. It goes without saying that we treat all information as strictly confidential.
2.
Examination of the claim
We analyze your claim for plausibility, statute of limitations and prospects of success. At the same time, we check the debtor's creditworthiness via reliable credit agencies.
3.
Out-of-court debt collection proceedings
We contact the debtor - first in writing, then by telephone if necessary. The aim is to reach a swift, amicable agreement without court proceedings.
4.
Installment payment agreements (optional)
If the debtor is willing but unable to pay, we develop individual payment plans - always in close consultation with you.
5.
Judicial dunning procedure
If no agreement can be reached, we will initiate legal dunning proceedings with your consent. We will apply for a default summons via our contract lawyers.
6.
Enforcement order
If the debtor does not respond, the enforcement order will follow. This gives us a legally binding title with which your claim can be enforced for up to 30 years.
7.
Foreclosure
We enforce your titled claim: e.g. by means of account attachment, wage garnishment or bailiff. Naturally, we coordinate every step with you.
8.
Long-term monitoring
If immediate enforcement is unsuccessful, we keep an eye on the claim. We monitor the debtor's financial situation and react immediately to any changes.
